OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Joseph, Hollander & Craft (JHC) is proud to announce that Overland Park criminal defense attorney Dionne Scherff recently received the 2024 Clarence Darrow Award from the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (KACDL).
Founded in 1988, KACDL is a non-profit organization of criminal defense lawyers and related professionals in Kansas. KACDL’s mission is to ensure justice and due process for those facing criminal charges. Additionally, the organization provides continuing legal education for attorneys and promotes public awareness regarding individuals’ rights, the criminal justice system, and criminal defense practice.
Each year, KACDL awards one deserving criminal defense lawyer with the Clarence Darrow Award in recognition of outstanding criminal defense performance. This year, the organization selected Dionne for the honor. This recognition confirms Dionne’s exceptional work in the field of criminal defense, where she continuously works to protect her clients’ rights and ensure they receive just sentences.
Dionne defends adults and juveniles facing criminal charges in Kansas and Missouri state and federal courts. Based out of JHC’s Overland Park office, Dionne offers criminal defense representation as far west as the Topeka federal courthouse and throughout the Kansas City metro area.
