Biography
Douglas (Doug) Taylor is an experienced attorney who provides dedicated advocacy and calming legal guidance to businesses and families when they need it most.
With over 10 years of experience as the Assistant Attorney General for the Kansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Division, Doug is uniquely positioned with the knowledge and insight necessary to help businesses obtain liquor licenses and operate under their licenses in a clean, compliant manner that maximizes success. In his time with ABC, Doug observed firsthand what needs to be done to move through the licensure process promptly and efficiently, allowing businesses to open their doors sooner and keep them open longer. When regulatory issues occur, Doug’s perspective as a former regulator allows him to provide adroit guidance to clients so they can address them promptly and keep their businesses thriving with minimal interruption.
In addition to his licensing and regulatory practice, Doug also helps clients with family law matters such as divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, maintenance, and adoptions. Doug has many unique and personal connections to family law, including being adopted himself. He is able to truly connect with clients and provide the sort of confident, capable guidance they need in times of stress and uncertainty.
