OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Joseph, Hollander & Craft (JHC) is pleased to announce the addition of Samantha Fisher to its Overland Park office. Samantha joins JHC’s health and hospital law and professional licensure defense practice groups, where she will be working closely with Diane Bellquist and Anne Kindling. Licensed in Kansas and Missouri, Samantha assists professionals and professional organizations in matters on both sides of the state line.
Samantha first worked with JHC as a summer associate in 2023. After earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, Samantha joined the firm full time in 2024. When asked about her experience at JHC so far, Samantha stated, “I appreciate the team environment at the firm, where collaboration is encouraged and successes are shared … Working together is working better, and I am glad that I can be part of this team.”
In her health and hospital law practice, Samantha assists individuals and organizations with regulatory compliance, physician contracts, non-competition agreements and disputes, medical staff relations, peer review and risk management, defense of medical malpractice claims, and other civil litigation. Samantha’s licensure and regulatory defense practice includes responding to initial complaints, negotiating settlements, defending allegations in formal disciplinary proceedings, petitioning for judicial review and everything in between.
