Program Description

This CLE explores the ethical challenges that arise when supervising attorneys and subordinate lawyers come from different generations, professional cultures, and levels of technological fluency. Using the Rules of Professional Conduct as the framework, the program will examine how generational related differences if left unaddressed, can create supervisory risks, competencies gaps, and communication barriers. These generational differences can especially arise in digital discovery, social media use, remote practice platforms, delegation of duties, and workplace respect. Attendees will gain practical strategies for ethical compliance, fostering an inclusive workplace, and harnessing the best attributes of the generations.
