Program Description
The use of Artificial Intelligence is on the rise, including in the practice of law. But AI is not perfect, and lawyers should be careful in using it. There are potential ethical pitfalls in the use of AI, which implicate lawyers’ duties of competence, confidentiality, avoiding conflicts, and supervisory responsibilities. This program addresses some of the various tasks made easier by AI and then explores the various ethical risks involved in their use.
