Desiree Smith is a family law attorney located in Wichita, KS, whose practice includes matters of divorce, child custody, child support, spousal maintenance, guardianships, and paternity.

She also served as Co-Director of the Children and Family Law Center at Washburn.

Ms. Smith competed twice at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition and on the 2019–2020 ABA Negotiations Team and received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards (Top Paper) in Torts, Contracts, Constitutional Law II, Legal Analysis, Research and Writing II, Oil and Gas Law, and Family Law Seminar.

While in law school, Ms. Smith worked as a law clerk for Bud Dale Law Office and the Kansas Department of Agriculture. She was also a summer associate at Joseph, Hollander & Craft in 2020.

Ms. Smith is applying for membership in the Wichita Bar Association and Young Lawyers Association.
