Mr. Curry’s practice focuses on criminal defense in state and federal courts across the state of Kansas.
Mr. Curry is admitted to practice before the Kansas Supreme Court, all other Kansas courts, and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
Mr. Curry received his juris doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2003. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas with a B.G.S. in psychology.
Mr. Curry began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Curry served as a Deputy District Attorney, supervising two separate criminal divisions and handling major felony cases ranging from aggravated assault to attempted capital murder. In 2013, Mr. Curry was designated a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the Department of Justice. In that role, Mr. Curry worked as a special prosecutor on the Violent Crimes Task Force. Mr. Curry has tried more than 50 jury trials in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Curry is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Topeka Bar Association, and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association.
