Practice Areas: Mr. Curry’s practice focuses on criminal defense in state and federal courts across the state of Kansas.
Admitted: Mr. Curry is admitted to practice before the Kansas Supreme Court, all other Kansas courts, and the United States District Court for the District of Kansas.
Education: Mr. Curry received his juris doctorate from Washburn University School of Law in 2003. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kansas with a B.G.S. in psychology.
Professional History: Mr. Curry began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office. Mr. Curry served as a Deputy District Attorney, supervising two separate criminal divisions and handling major felony cases ranging from aggravated assault to attempted capital murder. In 2013, Mr. Curry was designated a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the Department of Justice. In that role, Mr. Curry worked as a special prosecutor on the Violent Crimes Task Force. Mr. Curry has tried more than 50 jury trials in both state and federal courts.
Memberships: Mr. Curry is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Topeka Bar Association, and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association.
