With over ten years’ experience working for the state governmental agencies including the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts and the Office of the State Bank Commissioner, I now put my government experience to use by providing defense services for licensees before their respective regulatory boards.

I routinely practice before the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, Kansas State Board of Nursing, Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board and the Board of Pharmacy assisting healthcare providers, including physicians, chiropractors, physician assistants, physical therpaists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, mental health providers, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals. While healthcare providers are a large segment of licensed professionals, I have represented many other professionals before additional licensing boards in Kansas and Missouri.

I have a thorough understanding of the Kansas Administrative Procedures Act and the Kansas Judicial Review Act.  Having the experience as an insider in the governmental agencies, I have the unique practical advantage of established relationships with agency personnel, as well as an understanding of the unwritten protocols and practices.
