Dustin Curry is a litigator based in JHC’s Lawrence and Topeka offices. His practice includes criminal defense and personal injury litigation.

Dustin joined JHC’s criminal defense team with 10 years’ experience as a prosecutor at the state and federal level. He spent several years handling major felony cases for the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office before being designated a Special Assistant United States Attorney on the Violent Crimes Task Force. Now, Dustin uses his considerable insight into the prosecution to defend clients charged with felonies and misdemeanors—including drug crimes, violent crimes, property crimes, and DUIs—in federal, state, and municipal courts.

Dustin’s family law practice includes divorce, paternity, and related matters, including spousal maintenance, child custody, and child support. A skilled negotiator with a no-nonsense approach, Dustin resolves family law cases with the perfect combination of creativity and practicality. But he also knows some things aren’t negotiable.
