Joseph, Hollander & Craft hosted more than 110 attendees at this year’s Tenth Circuit Historical Society Fall Program and Ethics CLE on October 10, 2019 at the Frank Carlson Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Topeka, Kansas.
The program began with University of Kansas School of Law Professor Michael H. Hoeflich presenting insights into Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.’s reading. Justice Holmes was extremely well-read and he kept a list of his thoughts and readings in a “Black Book.” Professor Hoeflich shared a look into the mind and activities of Justice Holmes.
Professor Hoeflich then joined JH&C attorneys Chris Joseph and Diane Bellquist for a timely discussion and CLE presentation on Ethics and Technology Competence. This interactive discussion covered real-life scenarios on cybersecurity threats, risks taken daily through data transmission, and provided key components to disaster preparedness.
Mr. Joseph currently serves as the Kansas Vice President for the Tenth Circuit Historical Society. To learn more about the Tenth Circuit Historical Society or to become a member, see their website.
