Anne Kindling devotes her practice to health and hospital law, administrative and regulatory defense, and civil litigation involving insurance defense and business disputes such as non-compete agreements. Anne counsels organizational and individual health care providers in connection with all aspects of health and hospital law, including regulatory compliance such as HIPAA and EMTALA, physician contracts, medical staff relations, peer review and risk management, professional licensure, and defense of medical malpractice claims throughout Kansas.

Anne has dedicated her career to helping health care professionals and organizations. As an associate and later a partner at another Kansas law firm, Anne regularly represented health care providers in defending medical malpractice claims as well as regulatory, peer review, and other health law areas. In 2007, Anne left private practice to work in Risk Management at Stormont-Vail HealthCare, Inc., where she oversaw medical malpractice insurance and claims for the organization and its employed health care providers and managed health care risk and compliance responsibilities. In 2018, she brought her vast experience back to private practice when she joined JHC.

Health care providers and organizations trust Anne to guide them through the stickiest of situations because they know she knows her stuff. Beyond the statutes and regulations (which she knows like the back of her hand), her field experience with the internal operations of health care facilities and offices gives her an advantage few others can offer.

Anne is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, Topeka Bar Association, Kansas Association of Defense Counsel, Kansas Association of Hospital Attorneys, Greater Kansas City Society of Healthcare Attorneys, American Society for Healthcare Risk Management, and Kansas Association of Risk and Quality Management.
