On January 30, 2020, a jury acquitted attorney Chris Joseph’s client in Shawnee County District Court on five of six charges of unlawful sexual relations. In an interview with the Kansas City Star, Mr. Joseph said the jury was suspicious about the claims made by inmates during an investigation even the District Attorney admitted was flawed.
